Peter-Veldhoven Veeel1

      

Peter Veldhoven – CEO & Co-founder
Peter Veldhoven has a background in Industrial Design (TU Delft, 2005). Even before graduating he predicted that the creative industry and innovation-requiring market could be brought together in a much smarter way. Working with a platform of designers would allow a design agency to put together the perfect team for each and every assignment. It was the vision at the time, and remains so to this day. Peter is responsible for the commercial management of Veeel.

Jelmer-Riemersma Veeel1

      

Jelmer Riemersma – COO & Co-founder
Jelmer Riemersma is an Industrial Design engineer (TU Delft, 2006) with an ongoing interest for innovation and its underlying processes and models. His strong analytical skills make sure that we get to the bottom of every design challenge. Jelmer is responsible for managing and guiding our designers and advises clients before and during projects. In this role Jelmer has also been responsible for setting up and maintaining Veeel's designer platform Designrider.

Edward-Drabovitch Veeel       

Edward Drabovitch – Design engineer – Product design
Edward Drabovitch is an explorative and enthusiastic all-round Industrial Designer (TU Eindhoven, 2011) with a strong focus on the interaction between product and user. From his roots in Russia, Edward made his way to Eindhoven and graduated from the University of Technology early 2011. Integrating a wide range of knowledge areas he works on both internal as client projects and is highly skilled in 3D modelling and rendering.

Pieter-Romijn Veeel       

Pieter Romijn – Strategic designer – Product design
Pieter Romijn holds a MSc degree in Strategic Product Design (TU Delft, 2011, with honors). In his graduation project, he defined a product strategy for an LED lighting company and started his professional career at Veeel as strategic designer. He works on defining market
opportunities and translating these into concrete product concepts for clients. In every project he aims for coherence between brand, product and company.

Dorine-van-Schaik Veeel       

Dorine van Schaik – Graduation intern – Designrider
Dorine van Schaik (TU Delft) works on her graduation project "Designrider 2.0 - Redesigning an internet platform to provide a more fulfilling user experience” at Veeel. She is eager to learn about the interaction between people and product and therefore likes to know ‘why people do certain things’ and in which context. She aspires to design products that change a user’s attitude and behaviour. “Thinking through making” is her working method.

Aad Ouborg – Business Development & Marketing
The well-known and successful entrepreneur Aad Ouborg made name for himself with brands Babyliss and Princess Household Appliances. He has great experience with new product development and overseas production. Aad is also known for his clever and eye-catching marketing strategies. He advises Veeel in both areas.

Matthijs-Kanis Veeel1

 

Matthijs Kanis – Strategy & Organisation
As the founder of personal investment website “Belegger.nl” and as the co-founder of internet consultant Jungle Minds, Matthijs Kanis has acquired extensive experience as an entrepreneur. Since Sanoma Publishers acquired “Belegger.nl” he has been investing in promising companies. Matthijs advises Veeel on operational strategy and organisation.

Geert-Jan-Smits Veeel1  

Geert-Jan Smits – Internet strategy
Geert-Jan Smits is co-founder of internet consultant Jungle Minds and interior design webshop Flinders.nl. He is co-author of the books “Internet Scorecard” and “Finest Fifty e-commerce”. Before all this, he worked for three years as a consultant for the Hay Group. Geert-Jan mainly advises on Veeel’s internet strategy.

Joost-Steins-Bisschop Veeel1  

Joost Steins Bisschop – Business Development & Innovation
Joost Steins Bisschop is a consultant, visionary and entrepreneur. He is involved in several companies, an open-air theatre and writes a weekly column for “Het Financieele Dagblad” in which he takes on the newest technologies and their social, financial or cultural influence. At Veeel, he focuses on business development and innovation.

Jan-Albers Veeel1  

Jan Albers – Business Development & Corporate Strategy
Jan Albers spent many years working for Philips Electronics, where he held various senior management positions from 1990 onwards. In 1998, Jan Albers started working for GEA and was appointed to GEA's Board of Directors in 2000. Since 2009 he has been the CEO of Gamma Holding. Jan advises Veeel on its corporate strategy.
